The Double Decker living root bridge at Nongriat Village, Meghalaya. We started early at 530am and thats the best time. If you come here at around 10am, the descend and ascend of 4000 steps could be gruelling. Also, it will be too crowded to take pictures.

Ward's Lake, Shillong. Fortunately, we were here on Christmas day. The whole city was rejoicing.

We then moved to Kaziranga. What a spectacular sight it was with so many fireflies around. Here you can see the Milky Way. The yellow streaks of lights are that of fireflies.

Early morning, we went for an elephant ride in the Kaziranga National Park.

This was my second visit to the park. The first time we did not get a morning slot. We had good light but very less rhonos. Luckily, in my second trip, we got the 530am slot. We could see quite a lot of rhinos, but we struggled with light.
